Publix Coupon Policy - Now It's Official!

Thanks to I Heart Publix for sharing this!

Publix has released a coupon policy! This is great news for those Publix shoppers. The coupon policy states:

"Publix accepts manufacturers' coupons (limit one per item), Publix coupons (originals only - no copies), valid internet coupons, and coupons from nearby competitors identified by each Publix store. (Competitors names are posted at each Publix store.) We will accept coupons from competing pharmacies for prescriptions only. We will not accept percent-off-items or percent-off-total-order coupons. We will only accept coupons of identical merchandise we sell. Acceptance is subject to any restrictions on the coupon, and we reserve the right to limit quantities. Manager approval is needed for individual coupons above $5.oo For a buy-one-got-one free (BOGO) offer, each item is considered a separate sale. We will accept a manufactuer's coupon and either a Publix or a competitor coupon on the same item. Dollars-off-total-order coupons will be limited to one Publix and one competitor coupon per order. The order total must be equal to or greater than the total purchase requirements indicated on the coupon(s) presented."

Each store will have this new coupon policy posted along with a list of stores they consider as competitor. These store lists will vary from store to store, so be sure to check out your local store for which competitor coupons to use. Here is a short list of some stores your local Publix may consider as a competitor. Obviously, if you don't have these stores nearby or in your state, then you can't use those coupons at your local Publix.

Albertson's - Doris - Target - The Fresh Market - Whole Foods - Winn Dixie - Bravo - Sedano's - Save A Lot - Military Commissary

*Note: I have seen a lot of responses stating that their local Publix no longer accept Target coupons due to the lack of actual Target Super Center in their town. This may not be the case for you, just remember to check which store coupons your local Publix will accept.*
